I am so sorry that i never sent postcards from europe....the trip was more stessful than i could have imagined, and its like you're never in one place, you're always going and traveling somewhere else, never settled, and i would send them now, but now i have one week to pack and have garage sales and visit every family member before i move to NY on aug 23rd...with no apt, mind you. soooo basically we all know the postcards will never get sent. haha. um anyway, the trip was great i was so ready to go home by the end though. i cut out like 4 countries i was planning on going to because i wanted to get to actually enjoy places and not be moving every day. i'm so in love with paris i know that i have to live there at some point in my life...or at least travel as much as i can. london too is amazing. its really so unsatisfying cause it makes you want to go to 10,000,000 more places you know? i hope everyone is doing welll...bye!

So Artwear is my final show, the thing i have been working for the entire time I've been at UNT. We make a collection of 4 pieces and enter those 4 plus 3 more garments in ...there are like 210 entries and only 125 get in....6 is the highest number of garments you can possibly have in the show, but as few as 0. Judging was last night, two of them flew in from new york so we'll call them "real" judges, one of those does celebrity clothes..., the rest are all in the industry here in Dallas....anyway, you fit and pick and dress the models and i had accesories and everything and they looked freaking amazing! seriously! we don't go in while they get judged so you don't really know if they like it or not. they posted the list today and.....
I GOT 6 GARMENTS IN! MY WHOLE COLLECTION!! plus a menswear outfit and another dress!! i am soooo happy, it's unbelievable. only like 4 or 5 girls got their whole collections in! if you get your whole collection you are also up for awards, but i'm happy to have even gotten this many in. so it's next friday!! i can't wait.

just to let you know....the three episodes of Queer Eye for the Straight guy that I worked on started last tues (that was the frat house one that's down the street from my apartment), the second one is one tonight 9 on bravo, and the final one next tues so you should watch them and think of meeee!
I have never been so busy or stressed...i'm working two jobs, one at a montessori day care with 18 month-2 year olds and one sewing for the principal at the school because she has a side boutique business and a show coming up at market hall. on top of that I have all my sewing stuff because my collection is due at the end of this month and Artwear is May 6th! I graduate may 14. I got my invitations and cap and gown today. crazy. sarah is my freak out melt down friend. what are we doing after this?

yesterday was matt's mom's wedding and my phone was turned off all night and when i looked at my messages they were all about jessica mann's engagement. first of all, congratulations! i guess we know who's getting married first out of all of us now. it is weird though...cause i don't know reed, so it all seems very seperate from the jessica i remember. getting married in maui seems very jessica though.....
we saw sideways last night, too, which is also about a wedding and fucked up lives. i'm very jaded about the whole marriage thing so i'm happy for people who aren't.
i never write in here anymore cause the stuff going on in my life is really wonderful and i feel like i need to protect it or something...like if i talk about too much it'll go away...but i always read all of yours and love it :)

I was a map for Halloween last night...Miss Map actually. My dress turned out awesome, it was made of maps w/ micromachines glued all over and highway straps.....Felicia dressed up as marilyn Manson and looked so much like him it was scary, she got asked if she was a girl or boy several times, also in the top 10 in the contest. A vending machine won the 1st place 500 dolla. if you went up to him and pushed the buttons it let out candy and everything. then we got pulled over by a BICYCLE COP!! it was hilarious cause he freaked when he saw felicia's face. we were pulled over for honking!
fri night i almost started a fight cause i thought everyone three was cool and started talking about politics...but no, there were more bush supporters than not and then this one guy, who looks like phil collins goes" anyways, i'm against pro-choice." i stopped talking to him after that......
today i made halloween rice crispy treats for everyone and ate as much as i'm giving away :)...i dont know what i'm going to be tonight cause i dont care anymore i rather be really comfortable than try to be cute....
i could always be a sexy bunny...right jessica? hehehehehehehe

hey! i miss everyone so fucking bad! i want to see jessica! i get jealous hearing about sarah, lyndsey, lance and jess mann hanging out together. i want to visit everyone. i can't wait til christmas time. let's all work at vcr cause i need money and we could hang out there together...lol. I got so sad last weekend cause i was looking forward to rilo kiley for MONTHS...it was sold out cause they fucking booked them at this tiny place in denton. i almost started crying when i found out. then the next day a project went to shit but a milkshake with two straws made it better :) what's everyone being/doing for halloween????????????

hey! so much has been going on lately...let's see, i'm done with my internship, i got to go on set the last day and it was down the street from my grandma's house, so that was pretty cool...there was a wrap party at a bar in dallas, i took Felicia (who is awesome)and it was soooo much fun!
i saw that scary japanese movie ju-on and it was good, done differently from most horror films, went to a robert motherwell exhibit at the modern in ft. worth which was reallly nice, and the japanese gardens, which are now my favorite place ever to be; they were incredibly beautiful and quiet....i have my first critique in Fibers next week, and then right after, my first outfit for fash. des. 5 is due so we'll see how those go....
I'm home this weekend! kendall and i watched mean girls last night (so funny) we've been shopping alllll day and i love my mommy for that. i love urbn and anthropologie and old navy for sales.... hopeful i'll get to see everyone tonight for matt's 21st b-day. call me if you're in town!

i don't like who i am right now. i keep messing the same things up over and over. i want to fix this. i don't like not caring cause i want to, really badly....i just don't. i feel yucky.

so its sat night and i went to a fashion design girls' husbands b-day part....apparently fash design girls don't know how to party...thenmy friend invited me to a party on a certain street. i go to this street, but see no cars anywhere near the supposed number "1000-something" but 800 something has something going on so i park and as i'm walking to the door i realize it is a fucking frat boy party and i am going to the wrong house. as i go to the door and they're all "who are you/ who do you know here" one of their drunk buddies backs his car into mine. bumper/license scratched and bent. sweet. FUCK YOU! they were nice and all come in have a beer we're sorry about our friend but i left to the next party.....where an ex was, unexpectedly, and was being nice...until he goes (oh btw he's a bi-polar psycho) you forgot my birthday yesterday!!! in the middle of our conversation and stormed out, slamming the door in my face. why do i get these weird super emotional boys all the time?? i'm more of a man than them............ anyway, that was my fabulous night. so much fun. my original i'm staying home tonight plan would've gone over much better...

i promise i won't always be this annoying, but i'm so excited! so here goes:

I met the fab five today!! i got to hang out with Carson, Kyan, Ted, and Jai. it was kinda surreal chilling in this nasty frat guy room with sports stuff and playboys lying around turned into a makeshift wardrobe room with Kyan laid back on this guys' futon and Carson looking at racks of clothing! he is exactly the same in person as on camera...very funny/ sassy. they are all soooooooooooo nice and sooper friendly. Keely and I got to help Carson with an opening scene thing. Ted was telling us what he was showing them to cook ("puff pastries with sausage and a chuntney mustard sauce")and they actually cook it all there....the re-done Frat living room looks amazing!! Jai "the culture guy" is doing a sex-ed class for the frat boys and they're putting condoms on bananas!!
i saw pics of them with the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders and Carson is wearing keely and I's rhinestoned outfit and it looks really cute.
the lady i work for is the coolest girl i've ever met, i wanna be just like her when i grow up! we might go see Franz Ferdinand together! shes only a little older and got into fashion cause she babysat for a women who worked at Glamour. crazy.
i only got pics of me and keely in the wardrobe room, we were trying to play it cool and not be dorky asking for pics...lol...yea we're nerds....
now i hafta go do lots of homework but it's going much better than before <3

today was the first day of my internship and it was soooo coool! seriously, everyone was incredibly nice and laid back and not at all what i thought new york tv people would act like. the fab five are actually in Denton right now doing a Frat guy and the frat house...the entire fraternity gets a new wardrobe!! wtf?? they also get matching monogrammed american eagle button downs that I ironed! lol. the coolest thing was my 2 1/2 hours of Be-dazzeling a dallas cowboys outfit Carson is going to wear with the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders tomorrow! it looks sooo good if i do say so myself. i will call each and every person i know up when the episode comes on and say "look at that!! III did that!!" ok, keely did the shorts...i did the top (ahem the coolest and bestest ;)) , just to give credit where credit is due. also, they gave me free lunch from jasons deli and then money for gas and lunch for this week! how nice. i love it, i def. want to work in tv styling/ costume design now.

complete w/ puff sleeves, green crochet vest worn over it, red plaid flannel kilt, green plaid flannel Vans.
wow.it's incredible i'm a fashion design major. hehe. i love how you used to pick it out like a week in advance, though, that was fun; that new school year anything-can-happen feeling. i guess i'm jaded this year. this is it, last year of school, never to go again and i feel like there's so much more i want/need to learn.

everything feels weird right now, like everything should be fitting into place, but it's not. i need to start speaking up. nobody likes a complainer, but you know what? they're the ones that ask, bitch, moan and ultimately, get their way. i'm sick of being in situations i hate and not saying anything. it's also making me feel like the girlfriend who only talks shit about her boyfriend and so everyone hates him cause she never mentions the good.
this is my last year of school when everything really matters, when i have to be the sharpest, and i can't even get my pre-school homework done. it's like all my juice has drained out. i need some inspiration. how do you end "writer's block"?
zoe came and stayed with me the last few days and it was fun, we did lots of shopping and eating and watching awesome preteen movies. jaime and i forced her to the local bar and secretly she loved it. k not really, but she was a trooper ;)
the new rilo kiley is incredibly depressing. death, cheating husbands, hurt...not an upper.

it's so weird how days can be so up and down and crazy and bad and wonderful at the same time. i was sick for two hours, feeling like shit w/ a headache and tummy ache and feverish and then poof was fine and cleaning like crazy, watching the olympics being proud of some guy for having an amazing comeback and getting the gold after falling. i was so happy for him, he looked like he was going to kill himself after falling.......
alsoooo...cross your fingers for me in a good way...or get together and do a carebear stare! or something... i need luck. more details later.
this weekend should be grrrreaaat! yay.

i went to Knox today with kendall to get her locker all set up and bring her books up there and whatnot, and you wouldn't believe the freaking kids. ok kendall looks her age...she is cute and innocent and little....these 8th grade girls, just 1 year older, look like....me (or you)! i mean they are tall, have boobs annd butt and dress with style....not like us in 8th grade, they don't look all awkward, they're all like hot grown ups. i was like wtf? she'll get eaten alive! eh, jr. high is always hellish i guess....unless you're one of those girls i suppose...also her principal is gale drummond...god i hated her she was an awful cow.
